As part of our Agile close-knit development team, you will collaborate with a product manager, front & back-end developers + a QA specialist to create coherent & functional designs. You will play a key role in shaping the User Interface, ensuring consistency, and reusability, as well as adhering to the brand theming by leveraging the components, typography and colour systems already in place. Clear, well-communicated design specifications in English with the PM is of utmost importance. A great design for us is one that captures the edge cases & allows for a seamless integration.

Required:

• Excellent knowledge of Figma

• Components & reusing them throughout the entire application

• Designing responsive interfaces for various screen sizes (mobile priority)

• Typography system that can mimic the codebase Bootstrap headings (h1 - h6, p, etc.)

• Colour system that can be mapped to the codebase Bootstrap colour theming

• Grouping layers that allow direct export without the need of additional tweaks

• Excellent Bootstrap knowledge (or alternatively the Tailwind styling framework)

• Bootstrap Grid + components

• Bootstrap colour theming

• Bootstrap typography theming

• 3+ years of experience with UI/UX, digital and graphic design with a focus for the web

• Great attention to detail

• Advanced proficiency in English

• Team player & strong problem-solving abilities

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump in and contribute to whatever areas different teams need at any given time (subject to capacity)

Preferred:

• Creative mindset that can work well with already existing boundaries and limitations

• Decent Photoshop/Illustrator experience

• Experience working in an Agile development environment (Jira, Confluence)

• Wireframing & prototyping + Good presentational skills

• Ability to translate requirements into designs and reusable assets (in Figma)

• Experience with Icon Libraries (e.g. FontAwesome)

• Accessibility knowledge (directly incorporated into the designs)

• Online portfolio of work we can check out + previous Figma we can inspect

Bonus:

• A degree in Art or any other relevant qualification (or course)

• Experience in medtech or fintech solutions

• CSS + React understanding

• Email design/templates experience

• Familiarity with Analytics Tools for UX like Google Analytics, Hotjar or similar

• Framer experience

• Simple animations knowledge & the ability to showcase them in Figma

• SEO techniques incorporated directly into the Figma designs
