Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst / Project Coordinator who will be responsible for gathering and documenting customer requirements, support the on-boarding and project kick-off activities and supervise and coordinate a number of projects. The successful candidate will serve as a critical link between our clients and internal teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements while coordinating and overseeing the execution of projects.
This is a client-facing role, so strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a proven track record in successfully managing projects from inception to completion. Candidates with UK education are preferred.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for clients to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to ensure clear communication of requirements and project goals.
Lead and facilitate client meetings, workshops, and interviews to collect and define requirements.
Create and maintain detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and project timelines.
Coordinate and manage project delivery, ensuring all tasks are assigned, tracked, and completed according to Agile/Scrum practices.
Develop project plans, define milestones, and manage risks to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure effective delivery.
Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks, issues, and blockers, and working with the team to resolve them.
Communicate project updates regularly to stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of progress and any potential roadblocks.
Support the team in improving processes, suggesting best practices to increase efficiency.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Coordinate with third-party vendors or stakeholders as necessary to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager in a technology or software development environment.
Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks, with a demonstrated ability to manage projects in this methodology.
Proven client-facing experience, with a track record of working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.
Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical and business requirements.
Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azzure DevOps, Trello, ).
Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in project planning, risk management, and handling change requests efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with international clients and diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
UK education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
Experience in managing software or digital product development projects.
Familiarity with project management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
Experience as a scrum master and knowledge of the different Agile delivery methodologies
Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and how they tie into project requirements.
