Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) systems. We use Github Actions

• Collaborate with software development to automate and streamline operational processes.

• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring best practices and security standards are met.

• Manage cloud-based resources and services across multiple providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), optimizing for performance and cost.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

• Implement and maintain network security and data protection measures.

• Participate in the development of DevOps strategy and tools selection.

• Conduct system audits, including checking for compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Facilitate the development and testing environments, ensuring they meet the needs of the development team.

• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and cloud trends, recommending innovations that enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

Essential: 

• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment and management.

• Proven expertise in managing cloud environments, with hands-on experience in at least one of the major cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS). 

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.

• Experience with scripting languages for automation tasks 

• Solid understanding of network, security, and database management principles relevant to a cloud-based environment.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

• Commitment to documenting processes, systems, and configurations clearly and comprehensively.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.

Desirable: 

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools is desirable.

• Certification in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and/or DevOps practices is a plus.

• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
