Job Description
Summary:
We are looking for an Application Administrator to join our client’s Self-Service and Experience (SSE) team. The SSE team provides users with self-service tools to connect, share insights, access services, and achieve success. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about delivering a world-class self-service experience.
This role involves administering and optimizing critical platforms, such as Higher Logic, MadCap Flare, Cornerstone, and Salesforce Experience Cloud, while supporting a unified user experience. You will also manage user identity and single sign-on (SSO) solutions, ensuring seamless access across integrated systems. Front-end UI development skills are a plus, as the role requires enhancing the user interface for better engagement.
The SSE team works cross-functionally to support internal content creators, helping them manage knowledge resources like training materials, community content, and product documentation, while ensuring these resources are easily accessible to both internal and external users.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration:
Administer the daily operations of Salesforce Experience Cloud, MadCap Flare, Cornerstone, and Higher Logic platforms.
Manage user permissions, identity management, and access control across platforms.
Oversee Single Sign-On (SSO) processes to streamline system access.
System Integration & Support:
Collaborate with teams to integrate tools, knowledge sources, and third-party applications into platforms.
Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements using data-driven insights.
UI Development & Customization:
Utilize front-end UI development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to design user-friendly interfaces.
Customize user experiences across portals, ensuring seamless access to resources.
Collaboration & Service Orientation:
Act as a liaison between business units and the application team to address user needs.
Collaborate to integrate Salesforce Experience Cloud with unified search engines.
Identify and recommend improvements to Salesforce operations.
Data & Reporting:
Ensure data integrity by implementing best practices for data governance.
Work with analytics teams to track system usage and key performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Required:
3-5 years of experience in business application administration or a similar role.
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and at least one of the following: Higher Logic, MadCap Flare, or Cornerstone.
Technical knowledge of Salesforce identity management and SSO processes.
Front-end UI development skills (HTML, CSS).
Proven experience integrating applications and improving user experiences.
Preferred:
Experience implementing customer-facing portals and knowledge resources.
Familiarity with Salesforce Knowledge and support case management.
Experience with Workato or similar integration platforms.
Experience with API development and unified search engines (e.g., Coveo Search).
Knowledge of data catalogs, metadata tools, SQL, and business intelligence tools.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
